El Cajon Seventh-day Adventist Church Women Ministry is hosting a Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 19, 2023. The event will be held behind the Fellowship Hall of El Cajon SDA Church, El Cajon, California (1630 E Madison Ave, El Cajon, CA 92019).
Event Schedule
1-3 p.m. | Gate opens to the public (Public tickets at gate)
2:30 p.m. | Chili Cook-Off Judging Begins.
Public Tickets: $5.00 (Tickets include chili samples, voting for favorite chili)
Entry Tickets: $10.00
To Enter the Chili Cook-Off
- Complete the online Chili Cook-Off Entry Form.
- Fill out the form before March 19, 2023, and attach a copy of your ingredient list to the form (for food allergy purposes only – we will not share this publicly).
- Bring your form, ingredient list and $10.00 non-refundable entry fee (cash) to the church by end of day on March 19, 2023.
Rules:
- All Chili must be made on site (NO EXCEPTIONS)
- Bring your own power source, handwashing station, cooking Stove and Stove, Utensils, Pans, Tables, Chairs and Overhead Protection.
- Bathrooms are provided.
- No Smoking or Vaping on Premises.
- Theme are Encouraged.
- Participants are encouraged to bring and sell extra sides {eg: cornbread, salsa, fruit and drinks}
- All entrants will be given sample cups and container for public vote.
